About EHSA
| The European Home Systems Association (EHSA) is an open organisation. Its aim is to support and promote European industry in the field of Home Systems. Its members include major manufacturers with large R&D facilities. But EHSA also includes representatives of the building and installation trade, architects, electrical utilities, connector experts and suppliers of telecommunication systems. All have their field of expertise, all have their contribution to make, and all have the wish to co-operate to achieve a common standard and share experience with others. |
By supporting and promoting Home Systems (HS), EHSA reflects the common interests and aims of its members by helping them to develop new business. The Association is open to all - large or small, technical or non-technical, manufacturers or service companies, architects or consultants.
Periodic meetings enable members to handle specific issues. The EHSA Standards Control Committee (SCC) provides a regular EHSA forum to discuss technical matters of the HS specification. The EHSA Marketing Committee (GMC) enables members regularly to exchange views and agree on common actions on marketing and promotion issues.
EHSA also organises ad-hoc meetings needed to resolve specific issues or set-up dedicated guidelines of general interest to the members, such as Inter-Operability Groups (IOG). EHSA organises seminars and participates in exhibitions. These provide opportunities for sharing experiences and developing business contacts.
